Beta Phenylethylamine HCL is a natural compound, is believed to work as a neurotransmitter in the human brain, and also boosts as having a constitutional isomer.
Bovine Adrenal Tissue
DMAE is an organic compound also known as dimethylaminoethanol, Deanol, beta – dimethylaminoethyl alcohol or N, N-dimethyl-2-aminoethanol; a biochemical precursor to the peripheral and central nervous systems’ neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is also one of the many neurotransmitters in the autonomic nervous system and furthermore the one and only active neurotransmitter in the somatic nervous system, as well as in all autonomic ganglia. DMAE is related to choline and is deemed to have nootropic properties. It seems that supplements containing DMAE, which have gained popularity in recent times, improve the energy levels, promote relaxation during sleep and improve memory and learning capabilities. In athletic and body building circles, athletes use DMAE to shorten the recovery time after demanding trainings and to improve the overall athletic performances.
Green Tea Extract is very popular with the health conscious community, mainly because of the broad antioxidant features, which are provided by the green tea catechins. It is a very popular nutritional supplement, much more popular than regular green tea, because several green tea extract products have no caffeine. Caffeine is actually contained in larger quantities in green tea than in coffee. Besides the already mentioned catechins, further polyphenols are included in the Asian tea favorite. Green tea furthermore contains carotenoids, ascorbic acid – more commonly known as Vitamin C, Minerals and tocopherols. While there are many proven qualities of green tea extracts, some lesser researched effects have been observed, like reduction of LDL cholesterol, increasing the levels of norepinephrine, weight loss and additional antioxidant qualities.
Guggulsterone- Commiphora wightii, or the so called Guggul tree is a flowering shrub or rather a small tree which can grow up to a size of 4 meters. Once very common in India, it is now there listed as endangered, but not in northern Africa or elsewhere in central Asia. It was very popular in the Indian Ayurvedic medicine, but also currently in the western medicine for treating of heart problems. The hydrocarbon secretion of Guggul contains a plant sterol, guggulsterone, which in the human body seems to act as an antagonist to the farnesoid X receptor. Furthermore, guggulsterone is active in increasing the natural thyroid production. This in turn stimulates the metabolism and may raise the body temperature, burning stored excess fat.
Hordenine HCL- Hordenine is a naturally available compound, found in grassy plants and many grains as well as some hallucinogenic cacti. As a natural compound, Hordenine is becoming increasingly popular as an effective weight loss supplement. Even though the research surrounding hordenine and weight loss is minimal, it has been hypothesised that hordenine functions in part by stimulating norepinephrine. Thus hordenine can be considered a central nervous system stimulant.
While hordenine can be a part of weight loss supplements in its pure form, recently, the variation of hordenine HCL is being preferred by scientists and companies specialising in creating weight loss products. This is because while hordenine HCL doesn’t differ in application and stability from hordenine, it is more water soluble. This makes applicability easier. Also hordenine HCL is more easily absorbed by the body.
Iodine, a necessary element used by the body to make the thyroid hormones thyroxine and triiodothyronine. These Thyroid hormones are needed to maintain a healthy metabolic rate and cellular metabolism.
Licorice Root is widely used not only in syrups and lozenges to soothen sore throats but also to treat chronic fatigue syndrome, in preventing cavities and fibromyalgia. Licorice is a natural laxative and an excellent source of iron too. It helps treat eczema and improves the body’s immunity. Licorice roots contain glycyrrhizin; which works as an expectorant and loosens the mucus. When taken in large doses the compound glycyrrhizin, which is one the most active element in licorice root can cause potassium deficiency and inhibits the natural ability of the body to reduce blood pressure. Licorice root is available in many forms – drops, wafers, tea bags, loose tea, mouthwashes and caplets. The root is also available in the form of a regular snack in the form of licorice sticks.
Methylcobalamin which is used in peripheral and diabetic neuropathy and is basically a cobalamin. B12 dependant enzymes in the body use this vitamer methylcobalamin as one of the two active conenzymes. Research has been conducted on methylcobalamin in conjunction with sleep-wake rhythm disorder. Benefits have been yielded through this research but at a very slow rate. Vitamin B 12 deficiency such as pernicious anemia is treated with the help of methylcobalamin. It is also used in treating diseases of effective B12 deficiency like vitamin B12 metabolic pathway pathologies. Several studies have been conducted regarding the effects of this vitamer. One of the studies which have been conducted in recent times even suggests that methylcobalamin is a cobalamin which might be better retained in the body than cynacobalamin.
Methylxanthines (Caffeine) is a naturally occurring stimulant. Active ingredients of cocoa, coffee, cola and tea - caffeine, theobromine and theophylline fall under this group. It relaxes bronchial muscles, dilates the constricted airways, relieves congestion and stimulates diuresis. They get properly absorbed and evenly distributed in the body. Methylxanthine is mostly prescribed for people suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) having serious breathing problems persistently, despite of using inhaled anticholinergic and inhaled beta2-agonist. However it is not given top priority while treating COPD because it is known to cause side-effects. Headache, stomach upset, insomnia, heartburn, rapid breathing and rapid heart rate are some of the side effects experienced by people who have taken methylxanthine. Nevertheless, these side effects can be reduced by staying away from caffeine.
Phenylalanine- (S) alpha Amino beta phenylpropionic acid, or L-Phenylalanine, is an essential, electrically neutral amino acid, one of the twenty amino acids that are used by the human body to create proteins. L-Phenylalanine can also be turned into L-Tyrosine, also an amino acid, which converts into L-DOPA, a precursor to catecholamines like epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. While it is naturally found in breast milk and also milk of mammals, it is also a component of the artificial sweetener aspartame, found in many diet soft drinks. Other sources of phenylalanine include beef, poultry, pork, seafood, sesame seeds, soy milk, walnuts, flax seed, cottage cheese and asparagus. Although widely available through food, L-Phenylalanine is also marketed as a supplement, particularly for body builders where muscle growth is the main factor.
Phosphatidylcholine - a major component of biological membranes and can be isolated from egg yolk or soy beans. This extraction of the Phosphatidylcholine is done using hexane.
Phosphatidylcholine is in fact a primary dietary source of choline, an essential nutrient which can also be synthesised by the body. Phosphatidylcholine is composed of a phosphate group, 2 fatty acids and choline. The fatty acids are what make Phosphatidylcholine valuable for promoting health.
Phosphatidylcholine is important because it provides the body with choline which is required for the proper metabolism of fats as well as regulating the movement of fats in and out of cells. Choline is also need to maintain cell membrane integrity. Phosphatidylcholine also increases the solubility of cholesterol and hence decreases the chances of atherosclerosis.
Picamilon , also known as nicotinoyl-GABAm Pycamilon, Pikamilon, is formed by combining niacin with GABA. It is basically a dietary supplement. All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the Soviet Union developed this dietary supplement in 1969. It was further studied in Japan and Russia as a prodrug of GABA. In the United States, picamilon is sold as a dietary supplement whereas in Russia, the same drug picamilon is sold as a prescription drug. Picamilon hydrolyzes into GABA and niacin by crossing the blood brain barrier. In theory, the released GABA receptors would activate and potentially produce an anxiolytic response. It also releases a second component known as niacin. Niacin then acts as a strong vasodilator. This niacin then comes in use for the treatment of migraine heaaches.
Selenium is a chemical element and a trace mineral deemed essential to human nutrition. It is found in many food sources, like beef liver, turkey, chicken breast, roast beef, white bread, whole eggs, rice, oatmeal, pasta, Brazil nuts, tuna and many others. Just recently a correlation between selenium, Vitamin E and cancer prevention has been scientifically proven. This essential trace element nutrient is nevertheless toxic in excessive doses, but is vital as a cofactor where antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase is required. Besides the belief that selenium may have a role in prevention from cancer, it has been observed that population in HIV and AIDS stricken countries where the soil is deficient in selenium have larger outbreaks than areas where selenium is sufficiently present. Other uses, such as in prevention from recurrence of tuberculosis, have been recommended by researchers.
Slimalluma
Theobromine, which is a mild diuretic and mild stimulant. Theobromine can be found in cocoa and chocolate products. Theobromine is most commonly used for its diuretic effect.
Thiamine, also called Vitamin B1 or Thiamin, is needed to help the body utilize energy from proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Thiamine is commonly found in breads and cereals. Thiamine is water-soluble and is concentrated in muscle tissue as it passes thru the body.
Tyrosine is a non essential amino acid derived from several sources, including soy, poultry, milk and cheese products, but can also be synthesized in the body from phenylalanine. There are twenty amino acids that are used in human cells to synthesize proteins, one of which is tyrosine. It is of vital importance to the carbon dioxide conversion into organic compounds conducted by plants, the photosynthesis. Tyrosine is also recognized as a precursor to hormones, but also alkaloids and pigments. It is furthermore viewed as a precursor to neurotransmitters; it increases the levels of plasma neurotransmitters, most prominently norepinephrine and dopamine. While under normal circumstances the effects of tyrosine are inconclusive, it has been observed as useful in stress situations and to reduce the effects of a cold, fatigue, sleep deprivation and any kind of prolonged labor.
Vanadyl Sulfate is an inorganic compound of vanadium and the most widely found laboratory source. It is derived from petroleum residues, which is known as the most common commercial supplier of vanadium. Humans do not require vanadium, which means it is not necessary for humans to ingest vanadium in order to survive. Some vanadyl compounds are known to have the effect of mimicking the effects of insulin, which led to a popular use of Vanadyl Sulfate as a dietary supplement. In body building circles it is believed that Vanadyl Sulfate is increasing the performance and that muscle cells take up glucose easier under the influence of Vanadyl Sulfate. The insulin mimicking characteristic is believed to allow amino acids, proteins and carbs to directly enter muscles, but the scientific proof is still under deliberation.
Vitamin B12 is a water-souble member of the vitamin B complex. Requirements are in the microgram range, which is lower than the milligram range of the other B vitamins. Vitamin B12 is involved in the production of red blood cells and is usually known as the anti-anemia vitamin.
Vitamin B3, also called Niacin, is a water-soluble vitamin needed for the conversion of food into energy so that it may be used by the body. Vitamin B3 also helps metabolize protein, sugar and fat.
Vitamin B5, also called Pantothenic acid, which is a water-soluble vitamin required by the human body. Vitamin B5 is needed to form coenzyme-A (CoA), and is vital in the metabolism and synthesis of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
Vitamin C is L-ascorbic acid, or the active component of Vitamin C. Ascorbate, which is an ion of the ascorbic acid, is required for many metabolic reactions and is manufactured internally by most organisms, except humans. It is an essential nutrient and needs to be provided through nutrition. While oranges were traditionally deemed a good source of Vitamin C, the amount provided by an orange is dwarfed by the amount provided by the kakadu plum the richest Vitamin C plant resource of the world. Other notable sources are red peppers, parsley, Kiwifruit, Guava, Broccoli, Camu Camu, rose hip, Jujube, papaya, strawberries, lemon, melon and similar. Vitamin C is essential for tyrosine, carnitine and collagen synthesis, is the most widely available antioxidant and furthermore is vital for blood vessels, cartilage and scar tissue.
Yohimbine HCL raises body temperatures. it increases the flow of blood to the genital area and increases the sex drive in men but also women have reported similar effects.
