Bacopa Monnieri is a perennial creeping herb which is common to marshy areas throughout China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The ability to grow in water makes Bacopa Monnieri a popular aquarium plant, especially since it can grow even in brackish conditions. The leaves of Bacopa Monnieri are succulent and the flowers are small, white and 4-5 petalled. Bacopa Monnieri has long being used in the ancient form of medicine Aurveda.
